At least sixteen passengers died on Friday when a train collided with a bus in Pokrov in Petushinsky district, Russia.
According to the official report, the bus broke on the railroad crossing near Pokrov. The Nizhny Novgorod bound train hit the bus at 3:29 AM. None of the passengers on the train died.
The incident was investigated under criminal case by the Moscow Interregional Investigation Department of Transport. TASS news agency reported at least 37 bus passengers survived, and received temporary accommodation.
